alas, i have not been out to the coast in WAY too long, so i have no *recent* shorebird photos to post, but here are a couple from a number of years ago on a trip to Bandon, on the Oregon coast... taken with my old 30D and Sigma 80-400 lens - clearly, i need to get out to the ocean again soon!
thanks, Terry... it was a nice camera while it lasted... took a header off a tripod - ball head not tight enough, and the weight of the 80-400 tipped it over - but it was my first DSLR, and i did get some nice shots with it!
