took a trip up to Mt Vernon yesterday to check out the tulips... seemed to be only a couple of tulip farms open. these were taken at "Tulip Town", on Bradshaw Road. the light wasn't the best - a bit harsh - but we do what we can with what we have to work with.
5D2, 24-105 @ various settings...

thanks, Joe. the flowers were predominantly shades of red, but there were some very pretty purples, yellows and pinks as well.

yeah, the traffic on Sunday must've been atrocious!! as it was, even on a monday, there was quite a jam on the road out of Mt Vernon to the tulip farm area. i imagine the whole area was just gridlocked on Sunday...
