As soon as I arrived at Semiahmoo this morning the white flash of wings had me bailing out and grabbing gear. This is always a request on my winter field trips and they're a joy to find.

so THAT'S what that little sucker was! i saw one of these this afternoon hopping around in the grass near where i got my shots of the sandpipers, but it wouldn't come out in the open, and i couldn't get a decent shot of it. i wondered what it was! you got some nice shots here, Joe!
