a few evenings back, just before i left the osprey nest to head home, i got this sparrow offering a serenade to the setting sun. nothing special about the sparrow, but i loved the light... ;) 7D, 400mm, 1/2000 @ f/7.1

Nice shot of a Savannah Sparrow....and I think they're pretty special.
Not to name drop, but David Sibley once told me that he enjoys a "good House Sparrow."
