spring can't be TOO far away... the trilliums are starting to bloom. found this one in the shadow of a large red cedar at the park last weekend... 5D, 24-135 @ 135mm, 1/6 sec @ f/11...

Lovely shot, I've noticed them too. A sure sign of spring, no matter what the weather suggests it is.
 


Now this is good, the flower in the foreground is bright but not too bright, has a bit of softness to it also. then the background blends to dark on the edges, which to me leads me to the flower first off. that said Rocky: great work!!
