Went down to Juanita Bay this afternoon... beautiful day, for the most part, but sadly the treat of the afternoon didn't show up till after the sun took a powder behind a big, nasty cloud and the light went to crap around 5:30... that's when a sora popped out of the cattails and spent several minutes foraging in the mud before disappearing into the reeds again. Thanks to the lousy light and high ISO (one of these was shot at ISO 12,800), these aren't nearly as sharp and clean as I'd normally like, but considering it's only the second sora I've seen in 7 YEARS, I'll take what I can get!
