Yesterday was the first time seeing a coyote on Chambers Creek!
At first, I only saw one of the pups (thought it was a cat because of the distance) and then Mom moved.
I re-positioned to see if I could get a better angle.
Fortunately, the family, Mom and 4 pups, did not get spooked off and I was able to get several shots.

I also captured an image of one of the Bald Eagle adults.

Not every trip to the creek reveals hidden treasures, but when they show themselves, it makes me want to go back again and again.
Need to start a Chambers Creek log to note what and when. LOL

Fudge, the images are darker here than on my other monitor. Time for some PP investigation so I know what went wrong.

Investigation finished: 2nd monitor is not calibrated correctly!
Images look fine on the other monitor.

Good catch on the coyote family. Do you have any with all the pups together?

I also think that you should start a Chambers Creek thread like I the ones I have done on Edmonds. It will get your best photos dated and in one location should any of us want to review them at a later date.

Your photos look dark on my monitor as well.
 


The images are darker on my monitor as well. I will say that it works for the coyote as a really cool effect! If it were me, I might fix it but keep this version as well!

This version of the eagle pic looks really off.

Did this happen through RAW processing? The coyote pic almost looks like at least -1 exposure setting, if not lower. Again, I really like the effect with the coyote pic. It works.

The shots were kind of an oops.
I had been trying different ISO settings in manual mode and forgot to change it back.

Here is the coyote shot but not as dark.

Bill: I only have a shot of Mom and 2 of the pups. I like your idea of a Chambers Creek thread. I'll put some shots together and get one started.
