I've seen it many times and was finally able to capture it at Ocean Shores on Monday.

looks like something from one of those post-apocalyptic movies where they show a nuclear detonation over the horizon...
 
I had heard of it, but never knew if it were real or a myth. Is it only seen when the sun sets over water?
