And it makes me very nervous when 2500 pound critters are running so close. Shot the Leo's Birthday Bash polo matches at the Tacoma Polo Club today. I love watching horses run.

While I expected shots of the Hydroplanes from the title, this was a pleasent suprise and it's a great series!
 
LOL, I figured everyone would think thunder boats. Thanks Bob, it is a fun event to shoot for a day, but dang those ponies really make you nervous when you are looking through the lens and the ones you aren't watching running up beside you. all you hear is the thump thump thump and then look and it's right there.

The pictures don't appear as sharp as normal on here, I think I had accidently uploaded them onto my hosting site and let it downsize them which takes away some of the detail. Too many to go back through and redo them. Lets see if these next few look a bit crisper.

The good news is those horses are less than half that weight. The bad news is that it really doesn't matter, they will still mess you up if they go through you. ;)

Great captures! I have shot on that field many times over the years, it's beautiful there.
