When the AOU split the Blue Grouse into two separate species, bird listers were smiling. I'm not a lister, per se, just a shooter....;)

Your comment reminded me of an NPR interview of a resident of Sarajevo about the division of the former Yugoslavia. He said that one night he went to bed speaking a single language and woke up trilingual.
