had to make a stop in Edmonds this afternoon, so while i was there, i stopped by the marsh. Wesley was out enjoying the sunshine, but the little stinker never quite gave me the right angle to get a really good look at his colors... still, these didn't turn out too bad. 7D, 150-600 @ 550mm, 1/800 @ f/6.3

Rocky arrived at the marsh just as I was leaving to go up to the Pt.Edwards walkway. From the walkway I got a shot looking north across the marsh of him and Jerome, another local bird photographer, at the #1 viewing platform. They had probably just finished photographing Wesley perching on the strand of barb wire on the fence behind them.
