red-winged blackbirds are known for several things - they're raucous, they're brazen and fearless, and they're total hams! this fella swooped in a perched on a cattail to pose for the camera. he acted like he knew i was taking photos... he looked right at me and commenced posing, and even made sure i got his good side! well, i've already got tons of shots of RWBBs, but i can never resist when one practically insists on getting photographed... 7D, 400mm, 1/640 @ f/7.1

They are also known for being difficult to photograph: black eyes, black feathers, and bright red shoulder patches which always get burned out. Your photo is very good.
You can never get too many rw shots, Rocky - this one is quite outstanding!
