What with the drab and somewhat depressing skies we tend to have, a little color seems to brighten the scene.
These Witch Hazel blooms along with the accompanying Lichen are amazingly hardy - sub-freezing temps, frost, and snow don't seem to faze them.
(taken with the Canon 5Diii and 70-200mm f4L).
