This little ruby-crowned kinglet was hopping around foraging on the ice at Wylie Slough this afternoon... seemed to be displaying his crown even though he wasn't agitated or alarmed. I watched and photographed him for about 10 minutes, got over a hundred shots from about 20-25 feet. He didn't seem to care in the least that I was there...

Good shots of my nemesis bird. The display of its ruby crown may have been a reaction to seeing its reflection in the water.
