Many things are visible now that the leaves have fallen off the trees, such as a large wasp nest I saw in Yost Park Friday (11/20/15).

I initially thought it was an errant party balloon that had gotten caught in the tree.

A telephoto close up revealed the "balloon" was a wasp/hornet/yellow jack nest. I estimated the nest to be at least a foot in diameter, possibly larger.
