^Thank you Bob. Yes the second shot is hand held. exposure 1/15, iso 1250, aperture f/1.8. Available light was pretty bad that's why i had to shoot around 1/10-1/30 shutter speed even though i was at f/1.8. What i do in these kind of situation is that i shot at high speed shutter mode. So i end...

Bob i didn't do anything besides a little fill and contrast on all the photos. Second photo looks like that cuz there was some smoke in the air from fireworks. No HDR. It was such a great event...

For some reason stars were looking a lot more clear there then here in Seattle. It's a 30 second exposure. It might also have to do with the altitude. I think it was around 6500 feet.

^i shoot about 70 images with 30 second exposures. when you merge the layers together at photoshop you delete the light parts at the bottom to avoid the over exposure.

It was around Gorge by the Columbia River. Exposure was about 40 minutes...
