I was out at Semiahmoo early this morning and maneuvered into position for this shot....why not?

nice!! i did something similar with an eagle on some pilings, with Three Fingers Mountain in the background...
 
Earlier this year I took some shots of one of the Pt. Edwards eagles silhouetted against a fogged-over sun while perched on their tree at the top of Pine St. It was on exhibit at Bird Fest where many people thought the sun was a full moon.

A few years ago I got some shots of one them silhouetted against a setting sun at Marina Beach.
