This is going to be tough but I'll give it my best shot (no pun intended). Most of these are not technically good but special to me.
1. My dog Wolfy recovering from knee surgery. He was confined or limited activity for 4 months so this is all he could do . . . eat and watch TV
3. My friend on the Boulder Ridge Trail in the Mount Hood National Forest. It was taken with a point and shoot but it conveys where I like to spend most of my time if I could . . . on the trail.
4. "Lady Hare With Dog" a sculpture by Sophie Ryder. This is located on a deck outside of OHSU. I love the compassion shown in the sculpture and hoped to convey it in this photo.
5. Squirrel with my dogs ears between him and I. Wolfy still was confined to the house and the squirrel taunted him. Continues to this day.
6. My first shot with my new "big girl" camera at the Tigard Festival of Balloons.
7. The painted hills. It was on my must see list and I can check it off. But I will be back.
8. The mountains were full of bear grass. Each plant has a 6-7 year life cycle so it will be that long before we see another year with glorious blooms like this year. I'm sorry I could not make it to the very best places like paradise park.
9. Just because it made me smile.
10. My cat Harley because it is next to impossible to snap a picture of him that he has not closed his eyes.
11. Elk Meadows shelter on the slopes of Mt. Hood built by the CCC and still stands today. Also probably the best hike I had all summer.
12. An unexpected find within the limits of Lake Oswego.
Okay I have to make this a baker's dozen because I can't leave this out.
A photo of my dog Kayla this Christmas. Having her is a gift because she was diagnosed with cancer in the summer and was not expected to be here now.
