Our last 5 weeks in the US before moving to Kyrgyzstan were spent on two road trips. The first, a West Coast road trip (photos HERE) and the second driving along the SE coast. Here's photos from that trip:

1) We flew into New Orleans and immediately fell in love with the city.

12) There was a 'herd' of birders chasing after this guy. More amusing to watch the than the wildlife.

13) Were it not for mosquitoes the size of humming birds I'd have tried to get a lot closer to this bird.

Thanks Bill. The mosquitoes are terrible. If you plan a trip down there I'd recommend calling the rangers to check on the situation. As I understand it, the time of year they are worst changes.
