couldn't pass up such a gorgeous afternoon, so i went up to Stanwood to see if there were owls about... there were!

this one was a bit nervous about the bald eagle soaring overhead...

Good shots. Any problems with the usual photo spots being flooded?

thanks, Bill! it was pretty sloppy everywhere, but not really any more flooded than normal for this time of year, especially given the rain. quite a bit of water leaking in through the levee, but that's normal enough at high tide... always wise to wear rubber boots up there...
