Chinook Pass

Highway 410 is located on the east side of Mt Rainier National Park, and it travels through Chinook Pass. The road is closed during winter due to snow, but in the summer you can see some very scenic views from the highway. This shot is looking east from Chinook Pass, down the valley towards Yakima. The photo was taken on July 4th, and there's still plenty of snow in the pass.
