The birdfest is oriented to birding and not necessarily to photographers - many of the birds were identified by their song or were, or at least seemed to be, a couple of miles away :)....

This is the best male Harrier image I have ever made. The harrier did a quick fllyby next to Three-crabs Road in Dungeness (Canon 5Diii 400mm f5.6L with 1.4x extender hand held).

These Greater Yellow Legs in Dungeness Bay were fairly close - both shots were with the 5Diii and 500mm f4L and 1.4x extender tripod mounted.

I couldn't resist a White-crown Sparrow that posed for me on Ediz Hook in Port Angeles (400mm f5.6L and 1.4x)

We made a quick trip to Neah Bay on Sunday the 12th - there was considerable eagle action at the Makah Museum grounds of the Makah Cultural and Research Center (great Museum, btw)

looks like an enjoyable trip, Terry! nice catch on the "gray ghost"... those are relatively uncommon, and often hard to get shots of because they're usually off in the distance over a field somewhere...
