I met up with friends and headed up to Mount Saint Helens for a day of flowers and and evening stars. We took the road to the Johnston Ridge Observatory and took a few stops along the way. Primarily we hung out for Milky Way. We were a little concerned because the clouds hung around the mountain until the late afternoon and finally dissipated with the cool of the evening.
