Looks like he/she is getting very close to fledging to me. The next step is 'branching' - hope we, or at least one of us, get to capture it before its too late.
Good shot. The few I got Saturday afternoon are not worth posting up. I look forward to their branch hopping and first flight.

Over at the Tualatin River refuge, both parents are spending a great deal of time perching in the firs next to the visitors center, several hundred yards away from the nest, making their calls; seeming to try and coax the kid out.
He'll be out in no time, if not already.
