LOL! that's Juanita for you, Bill... you really oughta go check it out one of these days. you can take solace, though, in the fact that you have far better luck with owls and pileated woodpeckers than i do!

thanks, Tyler! i took a peek as i went by, but there didn't appear to be anyone home... maybe next time! i'll be heading back down there this weekend...
I haven't either, but I've seen some photos of it. Do you know which boardwalk it's on? Hopefully you'll have better luck next time!

it's on the causeway, just south of that information kiosk/gateway thing... there's a dead snag on the left side, and the nest is in the lower part of bare spot where the bark is missing. about 25 feet or so off the ground.
