and no that is not the Bend area as some people in Western Oregon have thought. I have never participated in a forum before but liked what I saw here so here I am. I entered and won my first photo contest in grade school. I have been playing with cameras ever since but just recently got into taken pictures other than those for the family scrapbooks. I would love to get feedback from others on how I can improve things. My dad, who is now 90, started taking pictures at the age of 8. I sure wish I would have paid more attention to what he was doing when I was a kid.

Personally, I didn't automatically think "Bend." Perhaps that is because I graduated high school in Pendleton. :D
