Hi, My name is Cassidy! I live in Cowlitz County, and I am looking for a buddy to go on day trips with. We moved up here from So-cal 2 years ago, and I havent been able to find anyone interested in going hiking with me. I have 2 kids at home, so overnight and multi day trips are out.

Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks,
Cassidy.

I checked out your website, and you've got some great photos. You are missing the Beaver Falls shot posted here.

I dont know why, I can never get them to load right.

I've fixed the links for you. It can be frustrating to try and link to the images, sorry about that!

You have to link to the actual image itself, not just the page it's on. The way I did that in Flickr was that I went to the "view all sizes" page and then clicked on the middle size. Then, when that image was on the page, I right clicked on the image and chose "properties". That showed me the url for the image. I highlighted that, and copied and pasted it into the address link box that shows up when you click "insert image" here on the forum.

You'll know you have the right address (url) when it ends in .jpg That tells you it's pointing to the image.

I wish you could just do a "drag and drop", maybe some day...

Thanks Jdueck. You are pretty close to me, do you go out shooting often?

I'd like to go out more than I have recently but I have a new baby and my wife and I both work full-time. When I go out shooting I usually have 2 kids

There is a great place called the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge that is pretty close to you. http://www.ridgefieldfriends.org/index.php Its a fun place to check out and its huge! You can stay (if I remember right) 1/2 hour past sunset so it offers time to get good lighting.

I've been down there a few times, gotten a couple of really great images. The last time I was there, I watched a blackbird divebombing on a hawk. I totally know how you feel about going out with 2 kids- I have a 9 month old and an almost 3 yr old. I just recently got a babysitter and started being able to go out without the kids on occassion. I dont mind taking them some places, but sometimes it is too dangerous.
