When we began our search for a dog last year, we had our names on several lists. In February we adopted Sarah, an 8 yr old border collie mix and then had our name taken off both lists.

On April 26th I got a call - There is a dog in that wants a loving home to spoil him and he fit my description. I assured her that must have been a mistake as we took our name off. They asked if I wanted to come meet him anyways, 'just in case'. I talked to George and he said "Only if Sarah likes him" so we took Sarah to meet the potential new addition to our home. Sarah loved him. He came home with us that day. He is 1.5 years old, and the sweetest and most wonderful big guy ever. Sarah is young again (ask her, she'll tell you!) and even the one cat LOVES him.

Even better, George's teenaged daughter is thrilled! A dog young enough to jog with her.
