Welcome and read the great threads . You can learn a ton here
What equipment do you have?
Thanks, I am looking forward to learning more.
What I have is a cheap and basic Canon SX20is which I just got this past Wed the 19th, I got it for it's size, capabilities, and it is easy to carry with me while i'm at work, I like to go light minus the extras
Someday i'll look into upgrading.

As some of you have already seen what I shot with the new camera, I did some tinkering with the functions and got these, it's a bit grainy but i'll work on getting the shots clearer next time.

Hi Jason! Glad to see you here. Now start using that new camera of yours and post away.
Thanks Leia, I'll get more shots when time permits, we will be working between Goldbar and Scenic next week and possibly two more weeks after, i'll try to get as much as I can since I did get extra cards for the camera and i'm hoping the weather cooperates.
I got one question, how do I change that new member beneath my avatar?

You have to be here a while and make some posts, then it will change automatically..

That is a rating of how often you have posted. It updates automatically.

By the way, I've changed those titles. The ones we had were the defaults from Vbulletin.
The ranks now go as follows:

Frequent Visitor
They indicate how often somebody posts, which can be nice to know, but doesn't really have much effect on anything else.

Pops,
Being a moderator here is actually pretty low stress, this forum is nice and friendly, and the users seem to get along pretty well. As it continues to grow, we'll eventually have more issues for the moderators to deal with, but so far I'm very happy with the tone of the place, and how few problems we've had.
I know, at least it has less stress than the other forums, and it shows.
