Did you take the photos from your car? I always get frustrated up there in the Skagit area. Plenty of telephone line hawks along the roads but no where to pull over for photos. :mad:
I was leaving the Skagit Reserve and I like to take the Mann RD back to Conway. I always have my camera on the passenger seat When I saw this guy I quickly pulled over as far as I could and exited my car and started taking pictures . I know its not ideal photographing birds on power wires, But this one didn't mind me being fairly close . Any ways, back roads in the Skagit can be narrow . but little traffic. You would be surprised at what you find some times. R.J
